Lawyers for Senior Justice

Is a new organization that will assist those having problems in Guardianship and in Probate court.

Guardianships are not well regulated or controlled. Guardians ad litem ("GAL") often get involved in a case and stir problems within families to churn their own bills and eat up the estate. Oftentimes a guardian in the family is selected because s/he will put a ward in a nursing homes (and we know form experience how very dangerous places those are), but it turns out the nursing homes are wired into the probate court so they can get business. In some cases, senior centers and disabled adult care centers are wired into the GAL/probate court system.

The nursing homes are filled with seniors of means that do not want to live there. Take a survey at any nursing home, and there are seniors crying to go home. Unfortunately, many times it is the vast majority of seniors that want to go home and live in their own home with a nurse or caring relative until their time comes.

Other countries do not do this, and no senior is shuffled off to a nursing home unless and until all avenues make it impossible for the senior to remain at home.

GAL's seem to be indifferent or cover up the fact that many seniors do have the means and ability to go home. The nursing homes are simply filled with seniors that are begging to go home.

In the nursing homes, the seniors are given dangerous high carb diets which are nutritionally deficient and ensures their dementia and other degenerative disease will worsen until they die. Needless and dangerous flu vaccinations which further result in possible and severe brain damage are inflicted upon the elderly. No one is watching these places for diet, nutrition, supplements and adequate care.

All of this has to end. The nursing homes have to quit being wired into the courts and probate system. The GAL's must be properly supervised.

I am currently seeking pro bono attorneys to help me blog for families and loved ones that have experienced corruption and trouble in probate courts across the country.  No one should have to have a set of vultures in the family bank accounts.

Symptoms of Probate and Guardianship abuse include:

1) Lawyers, CPA's and other "professionals" that suddenly want to take over a Guardianship or Conservatorship and boot out a close family member that had a good and loving relationship with the senior.

2) Family members that make promises and payoffs out of the ward's account and then get control and isolate the senior from friends and family known for years.  All of a sudden, family that has visited and called for years gets turned away.  The senior's cell phone disappears or he no longer knows how to use it.  The senior seems drugged or you are told the senior suddenly "needs" serious psychotropic and dangerous drugs such as Seroquel, Risperdol, Lithium, etc.--drugs commonly used on the most severe psychotic cases.  Further, the senior needs restraints. Or the senior gets upset or visits or phone calls and so they are isolated.

3) Inventories that are never filed or they "disappear" from the court's files.   Power of Attorney grants that are given and no accounting is ever made or approved by the senior or another family member at least on a yearly basis.

4) The lawyer and the GAL or Guardian ad Litem are buddies with the judge or judges and you can't get a change of venue.  Or they want controls so they can "feed" the senior into a nursing home, expensive elder care services, place the senior's accounts at certain banks and use certain CPA's and lawyers.  Sometimes you will see multiple appointments of GAL's or extra attorneys for the senior.  Beware.

I am looking for these stories and more.

Candidates for a pro bono blog must provide me with:
1) Name of the senior and at least 3 pictures.
2)  A promise to transmit court documents and pleadings promptly where they can be posted and commented upon publicly.
3)  A promise to supply me with daily writings and topics to help the senior be reunited with family and stop the isolation, draining of finances by non family members, and control.
